Path to Home Navigation Center

Dear Supporter!

I am proud to announce that Bridge House’s Path to Home program has been selected as the provider of Navigation Services for adults experiencing homelessness in Boulder. This fall we will be extending the Path to Home program we piloted this summer and expanding the model to become a 24/7 Navigation Center called for in the City of Boulder’s Long term Homelessness strategy  .

I am ALSO thrilled to announce that Bridge House has partnered with the City of Boulder and a for-profit development group led by Don Altman, Roger Grow, Michael Bosma, Robert Haas and Jay Hebb to identify a fixed, 24/7 location for the Path to Home Navigation Center and Lodge at 2691 30th Street in Boulder.

2691 30th LLC has purchased the property with the long-term vision for developing the site into 50 units of permanently affordable housing to address our community’s desperate need for affordable units. In the interim, Bridge House seeks to operate Path to Home Navigation Services at the site for two years. Bridge House is engaged with the immediate neighbors to develop a partnership to ensure a positive and smooth transition into the neighborhood.

At Path to Home Navigation we provide access to basic needs, housing-focused case management and sleeping accommodations for 50 adults experiencing homelessness. We have strategically coupled access to safe shelter and meals with intentional navigation case management services to help clients create a plan for housing. Path to Home Navigation is part of the Boulder County Regional Management system  . Path to Home Navigation clients will be referred through the County-wide coordinated entry process and coordinated entry staff will be located at Path to Home to increase access for clients.

For the next couple of months, Path to Home Navigation and Community Table dinners will continue to be hosted by our incredible faith partners as we work toward opening our new Path to Home Navigation Center and Lodge in January of 2018.

As you know, homeless services have changed dramatically since the spring of 2017. Over the summer Bridge House maintained our strong commitment to providing opportunities for our clients and served more than 400 unique individuals through our Community Table Meal program, our outreach case management, our Ready to Work program, and our pilot Path to Home summer sheltering program.
